Robert Lorbeer, Board Member
Robert Lorbeer has a long history of a love of the West and the Western life style. He was born and raised in western Kansas, and learned to ride and an appreciation for the West on his grandparents ranch in Westcliffe, CO. Robert is a graduate of the US Military Academy, West Point, NY, and served in the Army on active duty and in the reserves for 40 years. Additionally, his education includes an MBA from Tulane University, a Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University, and he is also a graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College, the National Defense University, and is equally proud of graduating from the US Army Airborne and Ranger schools.
Robert's hobby/avocation for the past 25 years has been equestrian activities. He has participated in numerous rides, and other equestrian events, including riding in the Rose Parade for 17 years, and has judged equestrian drill competitions and taught clinics throughout the US. Robert was inducted into the US Equestrian Drill Team Association Hall of Fame.
Robert and his wife, Western Music recording artist, Belinda Gail, moved to Prescott in 2012, and have become active members of this wonderful community. Bob and Belinda live a Western Life Style, and enjoy sharing those experiences with other people who love the West.
Robert has served on numerous, local, state and national Boards of Directors over the years, including a home owners association, a county music dance association, the Sacramento Horsemen's Association, the Sacramento Sheriff's Posse, the California State Horsemen's Association, Long Beach Mounted Police, the US Equestrian Drill Association, and the Western Music Association. Robert is pleased to join the Prescott Western Heritage Foundation Board of Directors and looks forward to continuing the work to preserve our Western Heritage.
