Chip Davis

Chip Davis, Finance & Yavapai Ranching History

Chip Davis is a fifth generation, Arizona native with roots of farming and business on his father’s side along with ranching on his mother’s side. His mother still operates their P7 Bar cattle ranch in Yavapai County, which was partially homesteaded in the 1880’s.

He and his wife, Karen, have four children and eleven grandchildren, and they enjoy learning from the different generations.

Chip is a graduate of University of Arizona Rural Leadership program, Flinn/Brown Arizona Civic Leadership program, founding Chairman of Arizona Rural Transportation Advisory Council and the Yavapai County Water Advisory Committee.

During his career, he’s served as Chairman for US Forest Service Resource Advisory Council, Northern Arizona Council of Governments, Verde Valley Senior Center and Verde Valley Transportation Organization.

He served twenty years on Yavapai County Board of Supervisors, three years as a Congressional District Director, and is on his fifth year as the Yavapai County Treasurer.
