Lois Fruhwirth, Secretary of the Board of GovernorsLois was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She attended Boston College, where she was elected President of the undergraduate student government. She graduated in ’83 with a BS in Business Administration, immediately joining Procter & Gamble. Lois is married 31 years to Gary Fruhwirth, with two adult sons, a daughter-in-law and a granddaughter. They made their decision to buy land in Prescott in ’08, recognizing Prescott’s culture, values, and quality of life was a perfect fit for their future active retirement plans. They relocated from Cincinnati, OH to Prescott in June ’18.
With a 34-year career at Procter & Gamble as a Supply Chain and Business Development Executive, in US and Global Operations, Lois relocated 9 times across the US and Puerto Rico. Lois oversaw supply operations worth billions of dollars in US sales (e.g. NA Olay Skin Care, US Walmart/Sams, US Grocery Channel). Lois was inducted into P&G’s prestigious ‘Magnus Society’, a highly coveted, competitive honor for top Supply Chain Global Masters. Now in Prescott, Lois volunteers her time, talents and treasures. Lois was elected to Prescott City Council (term Nov’23-’27), now serving as Mayor Pro Tem. A Prescott Citizens Academy graduate, she served on the Prescott Library Board ’20 -’22. She is active in Republican statewide politics, serving as Yavapai County Chair ’21-’22. Lois donates her services annually as a Guest Lecturer at UA’s Eller College of Business on ‘Supply Chain Management’ to over 1,000+ Eller freshmen (’20-current). In Oct’25, Lois graduated from the Dodie Londen Excellence in Public Service Series, an elite leadership program for AZ women. Lois currently serves the Prescott Western Heritage Foundation as Secretary on the Board of Governors. |
