Education Outreach

Prescott Western Heritage Foundation is committed to education outreach that supports our Mission to preserve and promote our western heritage.  Learn more about what we do below.  Please DONATE to provide funding for history projects in elementary schools within Yavapai County and art classes through the Mountain Artist's Guild.

Skyview Elementary School

Our EducationaOutreach program, provides funding for specific history related projects (pioneer treks, history plays, etc.) at the elementary school level.  In 2017 and 2019, the Foundation donated $480 to Skyview for their biennial pioneer trek to help cover the cost for four students who cannot afford to pay the $120 it costs each student.

High School Art Classes

​We have provided funding to make western art classes available at no cost to high school students through the Mountain Artist’s Guild.
