Franklin “Frank” Sanderson, Board MemberFranklin “Frank” Sanderson is the Northern Division Director over Transmission Operations and Maintenance for APS. His responsibilities include oversight over the Distribution Maintenance and Construction for all activities in Northern Arizona. He provides oversight and Leadership for all projects and activities that take place in Northern Arizona including those that are executed by teams from other business units within APS. He is also the executive representative for all community and governmental affairs for APS in northern Arizona.
He just assumed this role in March of 2023, moving from the Transmission and Distribution Safety Manager position with APS whose responsibilities include overseeing all safety for T&D for the entire state of Arizona. Frank grew up in Northeastern Arizona and has a great love for Arizona’s history and culture. He has worked for APS since 2007 and has held multiple titles in the Transmission and Distribution, and Generation. He is a Certified Journeyman Electrician and Journeyman Instrumentation Mechanic and has served in leadership roles throughout APS since 2014. Frank is looking forward to serving on the Prescott Western Heritage Foundation Board and participating with activities of the Western Heritage Center. He lives in the Prescott area with his wife and four children and is looking forward to continuing APS’s support and engagement with the local communities where we live and serve. |
